Megan Smith

Megan (she/her) began her yoga journey as a way to heal and reclaim her life after years of navigating cyclical habits, anxiety, and depression. What started as a search for balance soon became a lifelong practice. Through yoga, Megan discovered a union of mind, body, and spirit that helped her tap into her infinite potential and step fully into co-creating her reality.

Megan completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Front Range Community College in 2015 and her 300-hour certification at The River Yoga in 2016. Now a dedicated Denver yoga teacher, she fosters inclusive, intentional spaces for students to discover their true nature and expand into their fullest selves.

In Megan’s classes at The River Yoga, students are invited to ground down, breathe deeply, and move with intention. Her thoughtful approach to teaching encourages self-awareness and compassion, helping students carry the lessons from their mats into everyday life. Megan believes that the insight we cultivate through yoga serves as a roadmap for navigating the messy, but beautiful, human existence.
