Fall 2022

October 3 - November 5, 2022

Colorado Teacher Training

The River Immersion is an enlightening experience for students to dive deeper into the study, practice and philosophy of yoga.

Gathering together over the course of this month-long program, we explore the ancient, 8 Limb Path and steep ourselves in the diverse physical, mental and spiritual layers of yoga. Participants learn more about yoga, each other and most of all, about themselves.

Garry is known for his flowing Vinyasa teaching style and clear cueing. Garry and Yoga found one another in a hot room on a Sunday in October. He completed his initial 200-hour teacher training at Samadhi Yoga Center in Denver and has done many other trainings since then. Garry has been teaching Yoga full-time since the Summer of 2015, when he retired from a 36-year career as a lawyer and Law Professor, and has taught thousands of classes of various kinds, including power vinyasa, deep stretch and meditation, gentle vinyasa, yin, restorative and yoga nidra. Garry is the author of Learning Yoga: A Beginner’s Step by Step Guide and The Great Journey – Unraveling the Riddle of Reality, Self & Soul, and he regularly leads yoga and meditation retreats.
