Introducing Our 100-Hour Mat Pilates Teacher Training with HABITAT Pilates + Strength

At The River, our mission has always been “to provide exceptional yoga experiences, excellent educational programs, intentional partnerships, and a home where community and individuals are encouraged to live into their fullest potential.”

That mission is taking new shape! In Spring 2026, we’re deepening our yoga roots while growing into a more trusted wellness institution. Alongside our evolving sculpt and yoga offerings, we’re introducing HABITAT Pilates + Strength’s 100-Hour Mat Pilates Teacher Training, led by Denver-based instructor Xander Smith (he/they).

This immersive spring training runs April 3 – May 17, 2026, guiding students through the foundations of classical Pilates while exploring contemporary adaptations that meet today’s movement needs.

Why Pilates, Why Now

Think balance, form, proprioception, resistance training, and focused strength—all key components of Pilates that complement every style of movement you already love. Whether you’re looking to train muscles you never knew you had, cross-train for your favorite outdoor activities, or develop the tools to teach others, this new offering invites you to move with purpose and awareness.

As The River grows, we’re stepping fully into our role as a trusted wellness institution in Denver and beyond — continuing to inspire, connect, and elevate through exceptional yoga experiences. Expanding our offerings marks an intentional step toward offering the full spectrum of wellness under one roof, rooted in and sustained by our community. That’s YOU!
